Send images for review and sign-off

Every image in a collection moves along the same short path, from a private draft to a clear yes or a request for changes. Here is how to send images to your client and follow each sign-off from the Assets tab.

The four statuses

Every image in a collection carries one status, so you always know where it stands with your client. Images move through them in order.

  • Draft. Internal and private. A new image starts as a Draft and stays hidden from your client until you send it.
  • Awaiting. Sent, and waiting on your client. In the review room your client sees this as "For review".
  • Approved. Signed off and good to go.
  • Changes. Changes have been requested, so you know exactly which images need another pass.

Send a draft for review

A draft stays private until you send it. When an image is ready, send it from the Assets tab in one of two ways:

  • The paper-plane. Click the blue paper-plane on the image card. One click moves it from Draft to Awaiting.
  • The card menu. Open the card's menu and choose "Send for client review".

Only after you send an image can your client see it. The status changes to Awaiting, which your client sees as "For review".

What your client does

Click "Open review" to open the same client link your clients already use. They sign in with a one-time link, with no account and no password, then move through the collection image by image. Drafts stay hidden, so your client only sees images you have sent.

  • Approve. Your client approves the image and its status becomes Approved on your Assets tab.
  • Request changes. Your client asks for changes and leaves comments, and the image moves to Changes.
  • You are kept posted. Each action updates your Assets tab and notifies you. When a client works through several images, the approvals and change requests arrive as one batched sign-off summary, not a separate message per image.

The small stats chip near the top of the Assets tab keeps a live count of how many images are approved, need changes, or are still awaiting, so you can read progress at a glance.

Move an image on yourself

You can set a status directly from a card's menu without waiting for your client:

  • From Awaiting. Mark it Approved, Request changes, or move it back to Draft.
  • From Changes. Make your edits, then resend the image for review.
  • From Approved. Reopen an image if something needs another look. That moves it to Changes.

Send a batch at once

When a whole set is ready, act on many images together instead of one card at a time. On the Assets tab, turn on select mode, drag a lasso across empty space, or press Cmd/Ctrl+A to pick images.

  • Send for review. Send every selected draft to your client in one go.
  • Approve or Request changes. Set the same status across the whole selection.
  • Move to folder. Move a whole selection into a folder in one step.

Send an updated version

When you revise an image, you do not need a new card. Use the upload icon on the image, or its menu, to add the new file.

  • It becomes v2. A small purple "v2" pill shows the image has a newer version, and the latest one is what everyone sees.
  • It goes back for review automatically. The updated image is sent to your client again so they can re-check the new one.
Tip

Sent something by mistake? An Undo button appears for a few seconds after any status change, move or delete, so a wrong click is easy to take back.
