Comments on image assets

Every comment your client leaves on a collection lands in one place: the Comments tab. It gathers feedback from across all your images so nothing slips between folders.

Where every comment collects

Open a collection project and choose the Comments tab. It shows a project-wide feed of every comment across all your images, newest first and grouped by day. You can catch up on client feedback in one read, without opening each image one by one.

What each row tells you

Every comment sits in its own row, tied to the exact image it belongs to. At a glance you can see what your client is talking about and whether the thread still needs you.

  • The image. A thumbnail, its ID like LAUNCH-03, and the folder it lives in.
  • The comment. The comment itself, so you read the feedback in place.
  • The status. Each thread is marked Open or Resolved, so you know what is still live.

Reply or resolve a thread

You can act on feedback straight from the feed, without hunting for the right image first.

  • Reply inline. Type your answer right there in the feed and send it.
  • Resolve a thread. Mark it Resolved once it is handled, and it drops out of your open count.

Jump to the image with Open in review

When a comment needs a closer look, choose Open in review on the row. It takes you straight to that image and that comment in the client review room, so you read the feedback against the exact image it refers to. It is the fastest way from a note in the feed to the image it belongs to.

Keep on top of open threads

The Comments tab carries a badge that counts open threads, so you always know how much feedback is waiting. As you resolve threads the number falls, giving you a simple read on whether a collection is clear to move on.

Tip

Resolve threads as you finish them. The badge only counts open threads, so a clear count means a clear collection.

How this differs from website previews

This asset-by-asset feed is specific to image collections. Each comment is tied to a whole image and its ID. Website previews work differently: their comments stay pinned to the exact spot on the page where your client left them.
