Know it was the client who opened it

A per-recipient tracked link gives each person their own unique link. So when the open alert fires, you know for certain it was the client who looked, not you or a teammate.

Why use one

Ordinary open tracking tells you a preview was viewed, but not by whom. A tracked link is unique to one recipient, so the open is tied to that person and there is no doubt.

How to create one

  1. Open the preview's Overview.
  2. Create a tracked link for the recipient.
  3. Send them that link.
  4. When they open it, you get a confirmed open recorded against their name.
Tip

Make a separate tracked link for each client or stakeholder, so you can see exactly who has reviewed and who has not.
