A text version of the demo, so you can follow every step without the sound or picture. The walkthrough runs about 2 minutes 50 seconds and covers, in order:

  1. Dropping a website in. You start on the SiteViewer dashboard and add work either by dragging in an HTML file or export, or by pasting the address of a live site. SiteViewer takes it from there and builds a private preview.
  2. Getting a private link. The preview gets a share link you can put on your own domain. It stays private: only people you send it to can open it, and you can add a password if you want an extra lock.
  3. Leaving feedback on the page. Your client opens the link and clicks straight onto the part they want to talk about. A pin drops where they clicked and they type a comment right there, so nothing gets lost in a long email thread.
  4. Replying and resolving. You see each comment in context, reply underneath it, and mark it resolved once it is done. The client is notified, and the whole thread stays attached to the exact spot on the page.
  5. Sending the client-ready link. When the preview is ready, you send the final link. The client sees a clean, branded page on your domain, with no SiteViewer setup or sign-up needed on their side.
