Made by a designer who ships client work every week.
SiteViewer is built and run by Dave Hawkins, a Squarespace designer with a background in software product. It is the client review tool I always wanted and could never find, so I made it. Every decision is taken from the designer's chair, not a boardroom.
Independent and self-funded · Built and supported in the UK
Hello, I'm Dave.
I run Made by Dave, a Squarespace studio in London. Over the past decade my team and I have designed and built more than 600 bespoke websites, with over 18,000 hours inside the platform. I am a Squarespace Circle Platinum Partner, an Authorised Trainer, and one of a small number of Community Partners worldwide.
Before the studio, I spent years in software. I was an associate director at a bespoke software development company, a technical product owner at Alpha International, and I worked with Google on an app project for Transport for London. So I have sat on both sides of the screen: building software, and using it every day to deliver client work against a deadline.
I also teach other designers through Squarehead, which means I hear the same frustrations from hundreds of studios, not just my own. SiteViewer grew straight out of those conversations.
Two careers, one tool.
SiteViewer sits exactly where my two backgrounds meet: the rigour of building real software, and the daily reality of getting client work signed off.

A few of the brands and teams behind that experience
Every project hit the same wall.
The design would be finished, the client would love it, and then the feedback would arrive: a wall of screenshots, a long email, and a phone call about "the button on the third section". I spent more time decoding what people meant than actually making the changes.
I wanted one private link I could send a client, where they pin a comment straight onto the page, exactly where they mean it, and I get a clean list of changes back. No account for them to create, no new app for them to learn, and nothing that looked half-finished with my name on it. That is SiteViewer.
Because I build client sites for a living, every part of it is judged by three questions: is it polished enough to put your studio's name on, is it effortless for a non-technical client, and does it give you back the hours you currently lose to back-and-forth. If the answer is no, it does not ship.
