Transfer ownership of a workspace
You can hand the owner role to a teammate, for example when someone else takes over billing or the account.
How to transfer it
- Make sure the person is already a member of the workspace.
- Open the team settings.
- Transfer ownership to them.
- They become the owner.
Tip
The owner controls billing and cannot be removed, so transfer ownership before you step away from an account.
