Notifications and email digests
Choose how often SiteViewer emails you about new client comments, from a frequent digest to a daily or weekly summary, or turn them off. On Studio you can also get an instant Slack message.
Choose your cadence
- Email every 15 minutes. A frequent digest that gathers up new comments and sends them in one batch, so you stay close to the conversation without a separate email for every line.
- Hourly. One round-up an hour, a good middle ground for an active project.
- Daily. A single summary once a day of everything that came in.
- Weekly. One quiet summary a week, ideal for projects that are ticking along slowly.
- Off. No emails at all. You can check comments in the app whenever you like.
- Each person sets their own. Your cadence is yours, so teammates can each choose what suits them.
Where to set it
Open Notifications and pick the cadence you want. There is nothing to save separately, your choice takes effect from the next digest.
You also get a clean dot in the Inbox when there is something new to read, so you can see at a glance that comments have come in even with email turned down or off.
Slack
On Studio, connect Slack to get an instant message the moment a comment lands. It is the fastest way to hear about feedback, and it sits alongside your email cadence rather than replacing it, so you can keep a calm daily email and still get the quick Slack nudge.
A busy project is calmer on an hourly or daily digest, so you get one summary instead of a stream of separate emails. You can change your cadence at any time, so it is easy to turn it up while a review is in full swing and back down once it settles.
