Working with previews

Update a preview without changing the link

When you upload a new version, the link stays exactly the same and the client always sees your latest work. Nothing to re-send.

How versions work

Every upload to a preview becomes a new version. The newest version goes live instantly on the existing link, so a client who bookmarked it always lands on the current design. You keep one link for the whole project and just upload over it as the work moves on.

What you can do

  • The link never changes. Upload version after version, the shared link shows whichever one is live. Send it once and forget about it.
  • Name your versions. Give a version a label like "Homepage rework" instead of just a number. Clients see the name, your dashboard shows both the number and the name.
  • Reorder and roll back. Choose which version is live, and put an earlier one back if you need to. Handy when a change doesn't land and you want the previous design again.
  • Recently deleted. Removed a version by mistake? Restore it within 30 days before it is permanently cleared.
Good to know

Feedback comments are tied to the exact version they were left on, so old comments never land on the wrong design after you upload an update. Each version keeps its own thread of feedback.

The short version: one link, as many versions as you like. Upload a new version and the client sees it straight away, name it so everyone knows what changed, and roll back or restore if you need to. You never have to send a fresh link.
