Custom domains

Put previews on your own domain

Send clients links on your own domain, like previews.yourstudio.com, instead of ours. Available on Pro and Studio.

How to set it up

  1. Add your domain. In Settings, add the domain or subdomain you want to use for previews.
  2. Copy the two records we show you. We show you two small records to add at your domain provider. One points the address at us, the other proves the domain is yours so the secure padlock works.
  3. Add them at your registrar. Add those two records at your registrar (GoDaddy, Cloudflare, Namecheap and so on). Most providers apply them in a minute or two.
  4. That is it. We issue and renew the SSL certificate automatically, so your previews show the padlock with no certificate steps for you.

What you get

  • Automatic SSL, renewed for you. We issue and renew the certificate behind the scenes, so the padlock is always there and you never touch a certificate file.
  • Up to 10 domains on Studio. An agency can run several client brands at once, each on its own address, all from one account.
  • A branded address per preview. Each preview can sit on its own branded address, so the link a client opens looks like it came straight from your studio.
Good to know

Custom domains are for your client preview links. Your own sign-in to the dashboard always stays on siteviewer.app. Adding a domain changes where your clients open previews, not where you log in.
