Client feedback
How clients leave feedback
On Studio, a comments-enabled preview opens in the review room. Your client browses the live page, then drops numbered pins with comments exactly where they mean. No account needed.
Browse and Comment
The review room has two modes. In Browse, the page works normally, so the client can click around, follow links and use the design exactly as a visitor would. In Comment, a click drops a pin exactly where they want to leave feedback.
Pins and threads
- Numbered pins sit on the precise spot. Each pin lands on the exact place the client clicked, so there is never any doubt about what a note refers to.
- Every pin is a thread. The client and your team can reply back and forth on the same pin, keeping the whole conversation in one place.
- A pin can be dragged to move it. If a note belongs somewhere else, the client just drags the pin to the right spot.
- A screenshot is captured automatically. The moment a pin is dropped, the page is captured as it looked, so transient states are not lost.
Resolving and assigning
Mark a thread resolved when it is done, reopen it if it comes back, and assign it to a teammate so the right person picks it up. Open and Resolved are separate tabs, so the list stays tidy and you always see what is still outstanding.
Tip
Clients sign in to the review with a magic link, so they never create an account or set a password.
